Turning the middle finger disables it. While it’s mildly amusing, one can’t help but question the utility of such a design—and the reasoning of anyone willing to purchase it.

On the other hand, motorsport controversies are anything but trivial. Take Ferrari’s decision to ask Carlos Sainz not to overtake Charles Leclerc. Sainz, already set to leave the team, had little to lose and much to gain with podium finishes. Expecting him to concede felt both unfair and shortsighted. Faced with power loss and other setbacks, he adapted and delivered under pressure.
